And after so many weeks not being able to draw and post, I finally present the honey fetcher, Mongchuck to all of you!

Some facts about Mongchucks

Mongchucks love pollen grains so much, they work for at least 14 hours a day. It is kept by Mongchuck-keepers in order to collect honey and pollinating crops. The beak of Mongchucks can store numerous seeds at a single time especially during hibernation period.

Mongchucks live in deep mountainous regions and therefore it can be traded to other keepers for quite a high price. Average lifespan of this creature is around four to five years. The fan-like tail is used for balancing during flight and mating purposes. Due to global warming and deforestation, it has became one of the endangering species.

Weekends are always so sweet to have but short. I wanna go fly kite but end up chilling alone at esplanade area yesterday, observing the night scene, crowd and lighting. Although alone, it was still a great trip afterall! Come to think of it, I have not hang out with my beloved gang of friends for many weeks, god.

Anyway, so here goes Mongchuck, still not fully done after 4 hours of heavy planning and re-construction in perspective.

I will be gone for a week for standby, expect to return on next thursday, 31 March most likely. Thanks for visiting and hope you have a great week ahead! =)

Small progress being done today, I've decided to redraw Mongchuck, the honey fetcher in perspective.

Parents have been pestering me ever since last two weeks that it's about time to start looking for job before ORD... or taking up another career. I'm so confused because my brain did not even quit on me.

I finally manage to pull my lazy self together and tried figuring out Camtasia software for recording this video and so this is my first time using it, pardon me for any faults! =D

I actually had loads of fun recording though the recording crashed multiple times and I could feel some stress while painting, imagine tons of eyeballs watching this...

The actual painting probably took around 4 hours.

I've booked out this morning after guard duty and now I do have a little time to blog before booking in back camp again later! I wish I could stay at home and spent more time with family and my tablet.

You know, doing guard duty is pretty tiring thing, especially to the legs, body and souls. But after I received an SMS last midnight from my good old friend reina, I felt great! She has finally received the birthday card which I personally made and send to her a day before her birthday! I wonder what took so long to reach her, haha! She said she was so surprised and touched, and think I'm sweet. hahaha! Making someone happy is such a awesome thing, I love that feeling and I can hardly describe it!

I don't like to use the word "job", but I reckon I got the best job as an illustrator in the world! It's such a beautiful thing. And I will work even harder to reach my ultimate dream!

You gotta visit this awesome artist site, viet my-bui. I fell in love with her work, and she's such a talented artist, self taught!

To all my awesome readers,

I'll be away for nearly the whole of next month, Jan. As usual, I got guard duties and standby to do on weekends, and I guess I couldn't go back home as much like before. I'll try to find time to draw and update as much as I can though, no promise.

Thank you to whoever is reading my entries, though I don't know if there is anyone reading at all, but I really appreciate it if you came to visit!

I got 7 months more to serve, and I seriously hope it will end soon! And within this seven months, I need to start planning my career path, but I feel lost somehow.

Advance greetings to my very best friend, zhanxin! Known him since year 2006 and he's such a awesome friend, and this is the first time I'm doing a e-card for him!

I know, recently I've done quite afew cards, it's such a happy season! I feel so precious and loved when someone took the time off to do a card specially for me, though that was few years back and I still kept the card on my drawing desk. Likewise I suppose I could light up someone's day even with simple illustration!

God, I know I'm quite fortunate already but I wish to be happier. I feel so down and lost lately, I don't know why. Perhaps I've just been worrying too much.

Right now, I'm gonna go get ready, book in to camp tonight, hate it totally. Tomorrow still have some trainings going on... total waste of my precious youth.

However she remains optimistic and her passion for cooking extra delicious meals continues. Respect.
